Marnix obtained his BSc in International Business and MSc in Business Administration with a specialization in Management Accounting and Control at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. During his studies, he gained valuable practical experience in Audit & Control through an internship at PwC. He also worked as a sales representative at Schaap & Citroën in Groningen, where he further developed his financial and commercial skills. It was at the intersection of numbers and commerce that his interest in M&A grew, particularly in guiding entrepreneurs through strategic sale or acquisition decisions.

Hobbies and passions

As a proud Groninger, Marnix regularly returns to his roots to spend time with family and friends. He relaxes on the sports field: he is an avid footballer and also enjoys playing tennis and golf.
