Katinka Slegt
Strategic Advisor
Since 1993, Katinka has been active in the insurance industry as the owner of an Insurance broker (Slegt Verzekeringen) and an MGA (Slegt Assuradeuren) focused on the SME sector. Both companies were successfully sold to Klap (Amsterdam) in 2020. After the sale, Katinka worked as an account director at Klap for three years and has also contributed to the successful integration of her former clients and team.
In 2023, Katinka joined the team of BHB Dullemond as a strategic advisor. As a former owner of a family business, she has incredible insights about the strategic challenges an entrepreneur in the insurance market faces, and how an owner can prepare for a valuation or a potential sale of an small to medium-sized enterprise within the (intermediary) insurance sector.
Education
Wft certificates in private, commercial, and income insurance, General Insurance diploma, Certified Risk Management Consultant (Avans University of Applied Sciences), Program for Commissioners & Supervisors (Erasmus University Rotterdam), Business Valuations (RAB) at Avans University of Applied Sciences.

Chairperson of Fidonna (a network organization of women with financial expertise, including notaries, lawyers, wealth planners, financial advisors)
Hobbies and passions
Katinka enjoys traveling and playing golf. She's also a big fan of reading and enjoys listening to podcasts or audiobooks while taking walks.
