Henny Kloppenburg

Manager M&A and Valuation

After completing an internship with De Amersfoortse, Henny chose to remain in the insurance sector. In 2007, she began her career as a Business Analyst for Dullemond Bedrijfsadvies. She has become well acquainted with mergers and acquisitions, both the sector and the profession, and is delving even deeper into this. Henny enjoys the challenge of analysing insurance companies, carrying out valuations, establishing client contacts, performing advisory and research activities (e.g. on court files) and assisting with purchase and sales processes. With her ample experience, she is increasingly coaching the other team members.

Education

Foundation course (propedeuse) in Commercial Economics, a BSc in Business Economics, introductory course on the Financial Supervision Act or Wft, MSc in Fiscal Economics (University of Amsterdam), Register Advisor for Business Succession and Business Valuation (RAB BV), De gevolmachtigd agent in één dag (a proxy agent in one day) and Business Valuation (Nyenrode Business University). She is registered with the NiRV (Netherlands Institute for Register Valuators) as a register valuator.

Specialisation

Financial analyses, in-depth portfolio reviews (provincial, proxies, CRVPs or ‘draft preliminary re-organisation plans’) and discounted cash flow valuations. Valuations in the context of the entry and exit of (multiple) shareholders.

Professional experience

One year working for De Amersfoortse Verzekeringen and fifteen years with BHB Dullemond overnames en advies.

Hobbies and passions

Henny has wide-ranging interests. Skiing and reading are two of her favourite activities, for example. She also enjoys going to escape rooms, playing board games and spending time with her loved ones.
